Pauline Brown holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA in English from Dartmouth College.
She began her business career as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company, before joining The Estee Lauder Companies as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and New Business Development in charge of mergers, acquisitions, and licensing efforts. She subsequently joined Avon Products as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Global Business Development, responsible for driving key components of a major restructuring plan and overseeing external initiatives. Following Avon, she worked at the private equity firm, The Carlyle Group, where she served as a Managing Director in the firm's U.S. Buyout team. At Carlyle, she focused on investments in the consumer and retail sectors.
Brown joined LVMH Inc. in 2013. In addition to her role as the Chairman of North America, she also serves on the Board of L Capital, a private equity fund backed by LVMH.
